And today, with the efforts of many freedom fighters and revolutionaries, we proudly call ourselves the citizens of India, a country that is proudly ‘Sovereign, Democratic and Republic’. And 2024 marks India’s 77th anniversary of independence from British rule
India celebrates its 78th Independence Day, the government of India has announced the theme for this year is Viksit Bharat or Developed India. It symbolises the vision of a developed nation by 2047 and reflects the government's commitment to transform India.
